Little by little we are learning more and more details about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Today we receive interesting information from Multiplayer.it, a medium that recently interviewed some of those responsible for the game.

Specifically, the developers Davide Soliani and Cristina Nava They have been in charge of offering these details focused mainly on the development of this new installment, which as you well know will arrive exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2022. First, they have confirmed that the original development team, made up of 100 people, now it is almost three times bigger

and thanks to this they will allow a freer exploration system to the players.

They add that now the team of characters in the game it does not have limits

and we can use only Mario characters or only Rabbids if we want to throughout the different scenarios and battles, as it is something that fans had asked a lot. The range of movement of each character within each battle has also been reduced, this being possible precisely when greater scope of the project that they have been able to offer on this occasion after the success of Kingdom Battle.

Finally, they have also confirmed that the game will offer free camera movement all the time and that, although the exploration is less linear, they cannot define it as an open world game. However, they hope to offer players more freedom with the mechanics in place.
