New Minecraft Patch Addresses “Freezing Issues” On Nintendo Switch

The survival crafting game Minecraft has recently been experiencing some issues on the Nintendo Switch. Players on this platform have been reporting a build of the game “freezing”, making the whole thing unplayable.

There has been mention of this across social media and certain subreddits

. Fortunately, it seems Mojang has investigated these issues and addressed this problem. The freezing issues were first discovered in version 1.18.30. Here’s the latest fix:

Minecraft – Version 1.18.32:

“Addressed chunk loading and freezing issues on Nintendo Switch (MCPE-154110)”

According to playtests of this new patch, it looks like it may have resolved these issues:
