Japanese news site Nikkei released a report today stating that Nintendo intends to launch the Switch 2 console in March 2025. One of the reasons cited for the delay from 2024 to 2025 is that Nintendo wants to ensure enough inventory of the console to turn to to prevent reselling. Another reason is that Nintendo wants to make sure all of its games are ready for a solid launch lineup. Nikkei also mentioned that the console’s launch could slip past March 2025.
