The path to the exit of Nintendo Switch 2 was quite up and down the slide. Nintendo has not yet opened around the price of the console, but there may be a good reason why. The United States is constantly threatening other tariff countries, which could very well affect the prices on Nintendo's upcoming console.
So, it was inevitable that Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa asked about the issue in the Reuters article, translated by Nintendo Everything. In it, Furukawa says that “Nintendo Switch is not only produced in China, but also in places such as Vietnam and Cambodia. We predict different geopolitical risks and establish ways of responding.”
