Tucked neatly away in Nintendo’s recent press release is a small nugget of information that will surely please owners of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Yesterday we learned that Birdo, who first appeared in the GameCube Mario Kart game, Mario Kart: Double Dash, will be arriving in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the Booster Course Pass Wave Four, due out this spring. Birdo is the first new character to be introduced in the Booster Course Pass, and it turns out he won’t be the last. Official press release
