Bubble ball beginner's guide, tips and tricks

Lots of people heard about it Bubble ball, but the mumbling about players being burned and trapped in peanut shells makes the game daunting.

Created by The Game Band, Bubble ball is an online surrealistic alternate reality fantasy baseball game. At the same time, it’s neither of these things. The game changes from week to week, and while it aligns with America’s favorite pastime, it is slowly moving further away from the sport.

If you’re interested in the game or just confused about what nonsense you’re reading online, we’ve answered some of the big questions below.

What is bubble ball?

Bubble ball is a fantasy baseball game that You can play online. You collect coins by betting on games and winning. They use these coins at the end of each week to vote for decrees and blessings that will change the game over the next week.

Sometimes players are trapped in peanut shells and cannot play until they are released. Sometimes the weather is salmon. Sometimes a player dies and then comes back to life, then owes a debt and requires them to kill several other players to balance the scales of life. It is fun!

How do i play

You start by choosing one of the teams, most of which are based on real-world locations. You get coins for every game your team wins. From there, you bet your coins on games that start every hour on the hour.

They will also use your coins to make purchases Upgradeswhich allow you to win more coins from winnings and wager more coins per game.

You can also specify one idolPick a specific player who will earn you coins for every stroke or ball he hits.

Which team should I choose?

You should choose the team that excites you. While one team seems dominant at the moment, the best teams will change from season to season as the game continues to evolve.

You should pick a team that you have a mood with. If you are into winning and strategy, the Baltimore Crabs are likely a great choice. If you’re more relaxed and just here to have a good time, Hawaii Fridays are probably the team for you. Every team is different!

What is the best fundraising strategy?

Wager the maximum amount you can on the team with the highest chance of winning whenever you can. Update your Snake oil so you can bet more.

You can use yours too idolThis should be a player who has a gold income bonus. This is what you should invest in Sunflower seedsthat increase the number of coins you get every time your idol hits. Before you know it, you are going to get many, many coins just from your idols hitting balls.

Which upgrades should I buy first?

Invest in Snake oil and Sunflower seeds. Popcorn and Old popcornRewarding coins when your team wins or loses is also a great way to passively make money, especially if you don’t bet on every hour.

How long is a season? What is the bubble ball? Time schedule?

The seasons last for a week, starting at 11 p.m. ET on Mondays. From then on through Friday at 3 p.m. ET, there will be new games almost every hour.

Votes for decrees and blessings close at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday. The results will be displayed shortly thereafter.

There are throughout the season Siestas – Times when the players are “resting” and no games are being played.

OK, I picked a team, but I changed my mind. Can i switch?

You can buy one flute in the shop for 2,000 coins. That way you can switch teams.

What is the matter with blessings and decrees?

You can buy be right from the shop for 100 coins each, which can be used in one season choice. Use these to make a decree that changes the rules of the game. You can also vote to try to gain blessings from the Bubble ball Gods who make your team stronger, steal players from other teams, or do a host of other things that are likely to benefit you.

Blessings are rewarded through a lottery system. Just because your team has the most votes for a particular blessing doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll get it, but it is most likely they’ll get it.

What are wills?

By buying one Cheese board In the shop you have access to wills as long as you have the cheese board in your inventory. Wills are similar to blessings and decrees in that they require player votes, but you can target players to be polished, traded, or sent away. Less random than blessings and decrees, and each team is given two wills per election.

How do I know which Blessings, Wills, and Decrees to choose?

Fans often discuss this in the Bubble ball discord. You can choose your team there and decide what to do next with the rest of your fan base.

Can I keep my coins forever and build a lot of wealth?

No. The “Eat the Rich” decree ensures that at the end of the season 1% of the players with the most coins redistribute their wealth to 99%. Spend those coins or risk saying goodbye to all your money.

Can you tell me more about idols

You can choose a player to be idolized and get coins every time he hits runs or pitch outs. You can change your idol for 200 coins, but not while games are being played.

Why does the Idol leaderboard sometimes have a line?

It depends on the line. At the end of a season there was a red dotted line that kept players trapped in peanut shells and incapacitated them. Idols with “peanut” in their name got a “honey roasted” buff.

In general, you don’t want the best players on your team to be above that red line, but the red line isn’t always there. We haven’t seen the line in a couple of seasons.

Sometimes there is a no-frills yellow line that instead gives an “ego boost” to any idol above it. Previously, players with this buff were immune to flooded bases.

Wait, Buffs? Are there any player fans?

If you click on Teams, you can also see individual players. Click on it and some have squares with mysterious little symbols. Some of them explain what they are doing. Others don’t. We know as much as you do when it comes to those creepy squares.

What about the weird weather symbols?

Weather in the Bubble ball The universe is not like the weather in real life. Each weather condition has a different effect and can randomly cause special things to happen.

peanuts: Stray peanuts can fly into players’ mouths, forcing them to have a “tasty reaction” that increases player stats or an “allergic reaction” that decreases player stats.

A lot of birds: There are birds. Sometimes they can freely peck a “peeled” player.
Feedback: Players can swap teams at random.
Solar eclipse: The referee can burn a random player. You will be replaced immediately by a new player.
Reverb: Player positions can be mixed.
Flushing blood: Players can absorb stats from another player.
flooding: Bases can occasionally be evacuated by a flood and players can be swept “elsewhere”.
salmon: Salmon sometimes swim upstream and reset the inning.

More weather is being added all the time, but this is the list starting with season 15.

Why are there so many peanut-themed things?

After being chosen as a decree in Season 2, peanuts infiltrated the game. This added peanut weather as well as peanuts for you to eat. Eating peanuts doesn’t seem to do anything, but they’re crispy and tasty.

At the end of season nine, the shoe thieves fought The Shelled One, the giant peanut god, and lost. In season 10, an all-star teamed up to defeat The Shelled One. The god was defeated.

Are there gods?

Yes, and we are at their mercy.

Shadow? Flooding? What do these terms mean?

As we have stated many times in this manual, Bubble ball is a constantly changing game. Luckily the folks at The Game Band put one together Glossary of terms for easier understanding.

What are blagonballs?

Nobody really knows, but they are “found” by players when they play extraordinary, like when they throw a no-hitter.

Who is Jaylen Hotdogfingers?

Jaylen Hotdogfingers was the first player to be burned by a referee and then brought back from the dead as a community measure. A blessing allowed a team to steal the 14th player on the Idol board, and many players chose Jaylen as their idol only to get her 14th and see what would happen. It was successful, and the Seattle garages picked them up and revived them in the process.

When she served again on her return, she hit several players with the ball, giving them an “unstable” day. These players were later burned by referees and spread the instability to other players. These players were also later burned. Eventually we learned that it was the cost of resuscitation.

Are there canon lore for the players?

Yes and no. Dedicated fans have come up with designs, personalities and backstories for the players based mostly on the interesting names. The Bubble ball The team shares them on the website. Although they are not official, they are supported by the developer.
