Inverse has published an interview with Nintendo's senior Vice -President of Nate BiH Bildorff's development and asked him why the company decided to launch a system with a safety hit by Mario Kart World. Nate explained that Mario Kart is “one of the most commonly available games”, making it a perfect game to start a brand new system. The fact that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe still remains the best -selling Nintendo Switch playing all time by fair margin has probably also influenced the decision in some way.
Why decide to start a Switch 2 with Mario Kart World, unlike the second game?
