Technology publication The Verge contacted Nintendo to clarify whether the newly announced Nintendo Switch (OLED model) features any new technology beneath the hood. The Kyoto-based company clarified that the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) does not feature a new CPU or include any additional RAM than the current models. What you do get is a newer OLED screen for better picture quality when playing the Switch in handheld mode, better audio, a new stand system, and more internal storage. The Nintendo Switch (OLED model)

will launch on 8th October and has a suggested retail price of $349.99

Nintendo has confirmed to The Verge that there are no major internal changes to the CPU or memory. “Nintendo Switch (OLED model) does not have a new CPU, or more RAM, from previous Nintendo Switch models,” says a Nintendo spokesperson.
