The start of CES 2025 has caused quite a stir among Nintendo fans. There have been tons of Switch 2 leaks and rumors, and since then there's been a steady stream of them. It's been quite a week and there have been a lot of questions about what Nintendo can do in response. The likely theory is that Nintendo will continue with their current plans.
However, that doesn't stop Nintendo from saying something about it. For the first time since CES 2025, Nintendo has made some official remarks. They did so to Japanese outlet Sankei, who reached out to them for comment. What might surprise you is that the company representative who responded didn't actually say the content was fake. In fact, they only said that “images and videos are not official”.
It may have been “no comment,” but it certainly won't help Nintendo that their response may have only served to add more evidence to suggest that what we saw and heard about the Switch 2 from CES 2025 is probably real. and true. However, the company has already stated that the official reveal of the console will come within this fiscal year. At most, we have less than a few months.
