Geoff Keighley has discovered The first panel of Summer Game Fest partner next week, which begins on Friday, June 6th.
Among the publishers and developers with a big name are Bandai Namco, Capcom, CD Project Red and Sony, among many others. But one logo jumps in many among the usual (and unusual) suspects – Nintendo Switch 2.
The new Nintendo Console, which has raised a lot of eyebrows on the net, since the company famously avoided appearing at Summer Game Fest since its inception. And the rumors are that Nintendo falls directly around the launch of the Switch 2 – which is, by chance, the day before Summer Game Fest.
But we are not convinced that this means anything big.

For one, the logo is for Nintendo Switch 2, not Nintendo. Certainly, Nintendo used the Switch 2 logo for other performances and partnerships like Bitsummitwhere the sponsor is. But since the console is launching literally the day before the event, it would be an unusual choice to show something new right because people face the console.
Nintendo, of course, did weird things, but we really see nothing more than a trailer to launch a Sizzle row rings during the opening of Night Live. There could be potentially some Switch 2 that will prove to be played during the day of playing, which is an event for a print or some developers games coming to the Switch 2 but nothing new from Nintendo.
In addition, the appointment of a partner does not necessarily mean that you are there to show anything. Giant bomb co -owner Jeff Gerstmann Is there any sobering words that basically agree: “I have to imagine that the Nintendo logo is there, means there will be a quick” Switch 2 clip today “who is playing on stream.”
Basically, Nintendo's name on a partner list means nothing – that couldAnd it could, but it's not probably. We'll have to wait and see next week.
