Thanks to the Nintendo Today application, we now have all the details about user icons that will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 when the system is starting next month on June 5. The line is actually quite extensive, with a total of 258, almost twice as much as that was available on the Switch 1, which had a total of 147. They will be available to all users and will not require platinum points that will be obtained.
Multiple franchises will have some form of national team: Mario, Zelda and Animal Crossing will have a wider selection, and any single Pokemon starter will also be available for the first time without the need for Nintendo Switch network. Some of Nintendo's more niche titles, such as weapons, will also have their own set of user icons.
