Nintendo has also won a patent lawsuit. It is currently from Gamevice and the case was filed in court in 2018. The maker of the smartphone and tablet devices said that Nintendo copied some of their notions of control over the Joy-Con icon, but the Patent Trial and Appeal Board has dismissed all 19 claims against Nintendo from Gamevice.
"Gamevice does not dispute Nintendo's demonstration that these credible claims are unreasonable, and Gamevice does not provide any other argument or evidence to support the ownership," the board said.
