It seems that we have news after Nintendo statements about the Nintendo Switch 2 leaks. After knowing how the successor would be affecting the plans of the current Switch. The last prominent rumor pointed to an announcement in January 2025 and a launch in March 2025.

You already know that Genkian accessory manufacturer, has shown its accessories for the successor during CES 2025. After offering news about its Joy-Con, as well as its dock, it now seems that there is a new report about it. This comes from Reddit and claims that the lawyers (nicknamed ninjas) of Nintendo would have contacted Genki in Las Vegas.
You already know that Genki issued a statement yesterday stating that they they hadn't seen the real hardware and that its accessories were based on leaks. However, many suspect that they have seen it, since they even have trailers that show Switch 2 features leaked just a few days ago, such as the Joy-Con sensor and the possibility of using them as mice.

Today's report claims Nintendo rushed to Genki's booth at CES with lawyers and asked them what was happening. Genki's response would have been that they had done nothing wrong and that they never signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). We will have to be attentive in case more reactions arise in this regard, since another report stated that Nintendo was “amused” by all these leaks.
