At the start of the event, you’ll receive quests to collect Ice Cubes. Completing them will earn you Golden Pikmin Seedlings in Ice Cream: Classic Costumes, as well as exclusive Mii Outfits.
*The Pikmin disguised as ice cream: classic are the same ones that already appeared in Pikmin Bloom in September 2023.
*Ice Cubes can be obtained as a reward from Event Challenges, by planting Flowers, from Mystery Boxes you receive by destroying Strange Mushrooms, as a bonus with the purchase of a Premium Event Pass, from the Petal Pack, and as a bonus with the purchase of a Mii Outfit available only during the event.
*The seedlings you obtain from completing these quests will evolve into Ice Cream Pikmin: Classic (7 types in total). Please note that there is no guarantee that you will get them all.
*Once the Ice Cream Event is over, the Ice Cube Quests will disappear, although they have no use beyond this event.
Destroy strange mushrooms to get mystery boxes!
During the event, you may see strange mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes containing items such as Ice Cubes, Petals, and more. Pikmin disguised as Ice Cream: 2024 flavor and Ice Cream: Classic are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Also, during the weekends you can find giant strange mushrooms, which contain an unusual mystery box. And not only that: during those weekends, the Mushroom Battle Megaphone will be available up to 3 times a day. Team up with your friends to destroy these powerful mushrooms!
⚫️ Giant Strange Mushrooms will appear during the following weekends:
- August 10th and 11th
- August 17 and 18
- August 24th and 25th
- August 31st
*During the event, Pikmin disguised as Ice Cream: 2024 flavor and Ice Cream: Classic flavor will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
Every postcard your Pikmin brings back will have a special design!

The Golden Seedlings you collect by inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between August 1 and August 31 will grow into any of 7 types of ice cream-disguised Pikmin: Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged, or Stone flavors.
*Please use the app version v99 or later for the Pikmin disguised as cards to appear correctly.
