Today sees the launch of the latest expansion of Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield.
As you might guess, a new set of cards brings the world together Pokémon Sword and Shield to TCG for the first time, with many familiar faces on your recent trip to Galar. The expansion also introduces a new mechanic to a game called Pokémon VMAX: these cards are from Pokémon V and include Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon, which have players able to collect cards such as Snorlax VMAX and Lapras VMAX – both with their own Gigantamax modes.
Here is more information on the new card series:
– More than 50 Pokémon come from the Galar region
– 17 Pokémon V and 12 complete Pokémon V, including Zacian V and Zamazenta V
– Four Pokémon VMAX, including Snorlax VMAX and Lapras VMAX
– Over 30 Training Cards, including 3 full-time Support Cards
– New Special Energy card

If you spend $ 10 or more on Pokémon TCG products at WHSmith, you will receive a Galician Obstagoon; buy any Pokémon TCG product in the GAME and you'll get Oversize Snorlax V. In Ireland, you'll get a Gallery Obstagoon credit card through 10 € on Pokémon TCG products at Eason stores.
