Last month, we came up with a new limited-edition exploitation game to compete in Pokémon Sword and Shield on Nintendo Switch. It turned out to be a popular "bug" in one video on Twitter showing this nasty trick having been viewed more than 50,000 times before being deleted.
The Pokémon company held this a week later and issued a stern warning to players who deliberately excluded online and tournamese battles to use their records, and threatened to "ban them completely" from them.
According to Pokemon-Matome, the Japanese players who have attacked the bug have now begun find out online boundaries. While the ban is believed to be permanent, Company Pokémon said it was also open to temporary restraints.
Here is a direct warning issued in April:
We can assure you that a large number of players have been disconnected from the Internet to use their winning / losing records of online championships and theaters.
From now on, if we determine that players have harassed this bug for their benefit in online and tournament battles, we will not hesitate to temporarily block or even completely prevent players from engaging in online play in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
So, if you're harassing this bug online, you might want to stop before it's temporarily banned or completely banned from playing online.
