Today, The Pokémon Company revealed that the long-awaited trading feature for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket will launch on January 29, 2025, followed by an all-new expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, which will launch on January 30, 2025.
The new store feature will allow players to trade their digital Pokémon cards with friends, expanding ways to grow their Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket card collections. Once the feature is released, players will be able to trade cards from the Genetic Apex and Ithical Island expansions, with plans to expand the line of tradeable cards in the future.
Along with the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, Space-Time Smackdown invites players to discover Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. In the expansion, players can expect unique card illustrations featuring fan-favorite Pokémon, including Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and Lucari.
