Original article [Tue 21st May, 2024 02:00 BST]:

Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has officially released its second major title update, titled ‘Boss Attack’.

This is a completely free update that allows players to take on new challenges including “Boss Revenge” where you can play again any previously defeated boss on any difficulty. On top of that, there’s also a “Boss Rush” mode, where you can fight all game bosses in the “ultimate challenge”.

This second mode will also allow you to unlock two new appearances for Sargon. Along with this is a new fast travel option for Mount Qaf.

If you haven’t tried Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on Nintendo Switch yet, there’s a free demo you can download from the eShop. There is more post-launch content coming to the game later this year, including Divine Trials and a new DLC story.

In our review here on Nintendo Life, we called The Lost Crown a “must play”:

“We knew Ubisoft Montpellier were a pair of safe hands and the team didn’t let us down, serving up the first must-have game of 2024 in a Switch port that absolutely does the job.”
