It’s a new year, and that means Nintendo has a bunch of new games to release. One of them is Princess Peach: Showtime! for Switch.
This title was originally confirmed to arrive on March 22, 2024 during last year’s September Direct and in the latest update, the ESRB rating for the game has now been spotted online. This seemingly confirms that its release is still on track.
As noted on Nintendo’s official website, the game is rated E10+, which the ESRB described as content “generally suitable for ages 10 and up.” Some “fantastic violence” seems to have elevated it to this rating.
Here’s what to expect when this new adventure starring Peach arrives in March (via Nintendo.com):
“Princess Peach’s trip to the Sparkle Theater goes off-script when the evil Grape and the Sour Bunch steal the show! Team up with the theater’s caretaker, Stella, to close the curtains on this tragedy by using a powerful ribbon and taking on several leading roles – each with their own looks and abilities. Transform to fit the role and use stunning abilities to save the day.
“Fend off the Sour Bunch with sensational swordsmanship as a swordsman…en garde! In another role, Peach puts on her detective hat to uncover who’s behind the museum’s mystery. From a kung fu master to a pastry chef, Peach’s roles give you clearly powerful ways to saving the game! What other transformations are just behind the curtain?”
Pre-orders are now available on the Switch eShop for £49.99 / $59.99 (or regional equivalent).
