Hyperkina is no stranger to unusual collaborations with its products. Known for creating a range of video game controllers, many of which we love to pair with our Switch, the peripheral-based store has unveiled not one, but three the most bizarre collaborations so far.
Shown on Twitterthree brand new Bluetooth Pixel Art controllers and cases, all perfect for the Switch, showcase the brand’s collaboration with cold meat company Oscar Mayer, maker of Kool-Aid, and spice company Huy Fong. That’s right — you can get a controller that looks like a hot dog if you really want to.
Obviously, the Oscar Mayer collab features a hot dog, while Kool-Aid simply carries the brand name of the drink. Huy Fong’s, then, uses the iconic Twin Rooster branding, which is used throughout its popular sriracha range. You can get a controller, a hard carrying case, or both if you really want!
The ads for them are also pretty awesome – they look like ads you’d see in a magazine or newspaper. You can browse all new products on Hyperkin’s website. The hot dog regulator is also up on Amazonwhere also featured (yes, really) Mac & Cheese and a Heinz Ketchup controller.
The the controllers cost $39.99 eachwhile boxes are $19.99 each. However, they are all limited edition, so if you’re really desperate for some food-based spices and add-ons for your Switch, you’d better grab them.
If you remember back in 2022, Hyperkin announced that it was teaming up with Kraft Heinz — which also owns Oscar Mayer and Kool-Aid — to create food-themed accessories. The company also created Tetris-themed controllers, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noirand Stranger Things.
