If you have ever complained about games changing Switch Shop, please take the opportunity to look at Chinese players. While hundreds of games are added to eShop through different regions every month, the Chinese Tencent switch has only had one game since December.

As explained earlier by Ahmad in April of last year, all games released inside China must be approved and licensed by China's gaming regulator:
Nintendo and Tencent will also need to submit each game for approval in China and ensure that the games comply with the content laws. This is a lengthy process and it means it will take some time before Nintendo builds the largest official gaming library in China.
Although there is a limited digital library in China at present, and a local lock on the Tencent switch, these programs can continue to play games from outside this area – meaning locals on the continent can import physical cartridges from elsewhere. According to Ahmad, they can import any Switch console if they want to access other eShop regions.
