Red Art Games issued a statement about Xu and notified its customers about the data breach via email. The perpetrators are still unknown, but the company assures its customers that their bank details were not compromised. However, first and last names, dates of birth, email and shipping addresses, order details and phone numbers were exposed during the attack and as such, affected customers should be extremely cautious if someone contacts them asking for their personal or banking information. All account holders are also advised to change their passwords as soon as possible to avoid further harm.
Red Art Games has published several games on the Nintendo Switch and other consoles and shipped them through its online store. Games such as Have A Nice Death and Triggerheart Exelica were offered in the store, along with upcoming games such as Elrentaros Wanderings and the English version of Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast. Their website is temporarily down for security reasons, but they promise to have it up and running again soon. However, all orders, shipments and refunds have been put on hold for now.
