Nintendo fans have been waiting all day today with a lot of anticipation for the possibility that the company could announce a Switch 2 reveal tomorrow. Many insiders, as well as numerous video game media outlets, are saying so. However, that day has come and gone and Nintendo hasn't mentioned anything.
Despite Nintendo's continued silence, it seems that all hope is not lost. Several insiders are doubling down on the reveal coming tomorrow. Jeff Grubb, for example, said on Bluesky that he told the upset folks at NateTheHate that “it's not even Thursday.” Meanwhile, NateTheHate himself responded to a fan that he was “on thin ice” by posting a picture that implied he wasn't worried at all. He was later asked if Nintendo could show a trailer for the Switch 2, and his response was that “it's a possibility. I don't think that can be dismissed as an outcome”.
Even the Brazilian journalist who first broke the rumor that the Switch 2 won't launch until 2025 is still expecting a revelation tomorrow. Just like NateTheHate, they posted a picture implying that they weren't worried about the reveal not happening at all and told users on Famiboards that “we'll be eating soon. Have faith”. Of course, if Nintendo does decide to do it in the shadows, we'll let you know.
