A few weeks ago it shared the status of its development, and now we would have a new leaked date, as reported yesterday. Now the rumor of its release date has been confirmed.
The title, which was already shown in a trailer in January, has been officially confirmed for the October 25, 2024 and now we have interesting statements about Shadow. In an interview with VGCthe head of Sonic Team, Takashi Iizuka, has shared these words about the character:
Yes, in the games Shadow used a gun. But when we talk about Shadow, he would use whatever he needed at that moment to get t he job done. So he would take a gun or ride a motorcycle to get the job done; he is that kind of character. But he’s also extremely powerful on his own and doesn’t really need a weapon or anything because he can do it himself: it’s a weapon. Therefore, as long as it is not necessary for Shadow to use a weapon, he probably will not use it in the future.
