Bad news for those who look forward to Shironeko New Project, a new RPG project announced in July 2018 for Nintendo Switch. According to what has been shared, its launch window has been delayed.
Until now, Shironeko New Project was expected to be launched next year, but today producer Hiroki Asai has confirmed that they won't be able to have it ready in 2020 and has not shared when it will launch. "As the development progressed with the goal of a 2020 release, the truth is that it would not meet the quality that fans expect in their current condition," he shares.
«While we could have continued like this, we don't want to launch something as precious as this half-done project. We want to review the game from the planning and take it to a sufficient level of quality ». Finally, Asai has also confirmed that he plans to leave Colopl and start his solo career. However, he confirms that he will continue to collaborate on this project as an advertising producer.
