It may have been over 5 years since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate released on Nintendo Switch, but the game still gets little support from Nintendo. There have been several Spirit Events that have occurred in the game so far this year, and there is one more that will occur in the near future.
All that said, a new update was released tonight. After the update, the game should be on version 13.0.2. According to the official patch notes, this update doesn’t balance anything or fix any bugs. The only thing the update does is add “compatibility with the Sora amiibo, which is scheduled to be released soon”.
