A few months ago an interesting announcement was shared that has not gone unnoticed at all among the Nintendo community. In fact, this interesting announcement is linked to this classic Nintendo console. In this case, we are talking about news focused on a new title that will arrive on SNES, apart from the one confirmed at the beginning of this year.
We also recommend you take a look at our article on the best SNES games in history. Limited Run Games will launch a new version of DOOM for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The announcement comes after other confirmations for Switch of this same franchise that we received yesterday.
We leave you with the details:
- This “Definitive” version will include:
- A physical cartridge of DOOM for SNES.
- All 4 episodes of DOOM, including Thy Flesh Consumed.
- Circle-strafe added.
- Performance improvements.
- Monster resurrection on difficulty Nightmare.
- Level codes.
- Support for vibration with a new command.
- There will be two editions available:
- Standard Edition.
- Collector’s Editionwhich will include a retro box, an instruction manual, a poster and a controller.
- Its launch is scheduled for 2025, although no specific date has yet been set.
We’re bringing the heat with an all-new physical release of DOOM SNES, plus a delightfully devilish Collector’s Edition, of which only 666 will be made.
