Sonic Colors Ultimate had quite a rough launch when it arrived on the Nintendo Switch in September – with players reportedly encountering all sorts of issues. We investigated it ourselves at the time and were also able to replicate these issues by following certain steps.
Since then, the Switch version has received some patches, and now we’re up to Version 1.0.6 (also referred to as 2.6 across multiple other platforms). Here are the full patch notes via the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account:
As you can see, Sega has even included a Switch-specific fix in this update, included alongside improved stability, save game updates, audio and music fixes, and various other bug fixes.
