SmallAnt, a dedicated player of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, embarked on a challenging quest to complete the game without using key items. The feat, documented in a YouTube video, showed the streamer’s determination to navigate Hyrule and overcome obstacles without relying on basic tools like the paraglider and Purah Pad. As the adventure progressed, SmallAnt faced increasing difficulties due to the limitations of abilities such as Ultrahand, Ascend, and Fuse. However, the resourceful player used unconventional methods, such as well-placed bombs, speed potions, and exploiting the infinite height bug, to overcome various challenges.
The highlight of the trip came around 6 o’clock when SmallAnt encountered a sealed door in the Temple of Time. To progress, the player needed a heart container that could be exchanged for a blessing light on a nearby goddess statue. Unfortunately, obtaining the Heart Container involved the use of key items, making the challenge insurmountable.
