The producer behind Bravely Default II's upcoming Nintendo Switch program told the Weekly Famitsu that he already has an idea for the third game in the JRPG series. Speaking to the Japanese newspaper Bravely Default II producer Toya Asano said the following about a new article in the series:
“I have an idea about it. I’m not deliberately nailing the details, so it could be a smartphone game. Maybe I'll have a chance to do it in the future if fans support the series. ”
