The first volume of Konami's Metal Gear Solid collection is available for playing on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, for almost a few years. After launching, Konami gradually published updates that polished the collection and its individual games, as well as repairing the various mistakes revealed from the exit of the collection.
In fact, so much was done to the collection that, compared to launching, it was like comparison of apples and oranges now. So Digital Foundry decided to visit the collection again and see how it is today. They were more positive about the current state of the collection, saying that “it is in a much better place with a patch installed 2.0, but the fundamental disadvantages are still frustrating.” They say the fashionable PC version of the collection is the best way to reproduce, and the PlayStation 5 is the best version of the console collection.
