Chihiro Fujioka, director of the original Super Mario RPG on the Super Nintendo and head of the now-defunct Mario and Luigi studio, AlphaDream, took to Twitter to inform fans that no, he is not involved in the remake. Although Mr. Fujioka was not involved in the game’s development, he says he is “very surprised” that the remake is in the works and is looking forward to getting his hands on it on November 17.
