Capcom has confirmed that it will launch a new update tomorrow for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak on Nintendo Switch, which will introduce the ancient elder dragon, Primordial Malzeno, who will be the last monster added to the game. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available on the Nintendo eShop and at your favorite retailer. If you already own Monster Hunter Rise, you can purchase the Sunbreak DLC separately on the Nintendo eShop. Here’s what you need to know about the bonus update:
“The free bonus update concludes the age-old relationship between Elder Dragon Malzeno and the Kingdom. Starting at master level 10, Primordial Malzeno brings fierce new attacks and moves for hunters to contend with and offers victorious hunters parts for a unique new set of armor and weapons. Following the launch of the free bonus update on June 8th, Event Quests boasting greater challenges and even more exciting rewards will continue to be released until July 27th. While no new paid DLC will be released with the free bonus update, existing DLC is bundled with new themed sets at affordable prices.”
Tsujimoto and Suzuki were joined by Rise Director Yasunori Ichinose to discuss a wide range of topics, including how player feedback has influenced the development team, their favorite characters, and thanking the fans who inspired them to continually strive for new and exciting Monster Hunter experiences. With Monster Hunter celebrating its 20thth anniversary next year, the trio looks forward to a bright future for the series.”
