Although it has been almost 9 years since its original launch, Pokemon GO is still around and Niantic has managed to continue supporting the game. However, it was not easy. There have been a lot of ups and downs, and unfortunately, Pokemon GO has had its fair share of downs over the past year or two. The latest example of this doesn't help.
You see, the first monthly Community Day in 2025 has started in the game. The Community Day in January 2025, presented by Sprigatito, has one catch. Previously, the optional ticket you could buy was 99p/$0.99/$0.99. However, the price has now doubled to £1.99/$1.99/$2.19. It seems that Niantic tried to make the double price more attractive by adding one Premium Battle Pass to the included rewards.
