Nintendo Life has compiled a compilation of impressions, which are very positive:
- Nintendo Life: The game offers an experience that leaves you wanting more, highlighting the freedom to solve challenges in multiple ways.
- MashableEchoes of Wisdom is a hybrid of classic and modern Zelda, combining the structured design of older games with the freedom of games like Breath of the Wild.
- The Verge: Nintendo has improved upon the classic Zelda formula by incorporating innovations from the franchise. It’s not an open world or a classic Zelda, but something new that fits perfectly.
- Destructoid: The September 26 release makes it harder to wait; using the scepter to solve puzzles and combat is natural and engaging.
- Polygon: While it doesn’t have the scope of recent 3D Zelda games, it offers creative and flexible gameplay that combines classic style with innovation.
