So without further ado, let's dive into the weird, wonderful world of Switch 2 rendering…

First, the technical page @91 cell phones has released what it claims is an accurate look at the final design of the Switch 2. What's perhaps most noteworthy here is the color scheme, which features a black Switch with blue and orange accents on the Joy-Con controllers.

Blue and orange have historically been very compatible with each other, s especially movie posters that use the combination to great effect. We wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be quite accurate.

Shortly thereafter, the user @CardnlH have unveiled their own renders of the Switch 2, following 91mobile's lead pretty much for the device itself, but they've also decided to reveal a squishy dock and the Switch 2 logo. We see that the logo features, as rumored, the numerical number '2' next to the usual switch icon.

User @Elymar_Tj went a step further with their render, presenting a video of the Switch 2 using the rumored mouse functionality via the Joy-Con's optical sensor. It has been speculated that games such as Metroid Prime Remastered could be used with the sensor, essentially allowing users to control the game in a similar way to a classic PC mouse and keyboard. It's neat, but take this one with a grain of salt.

Of course, we can't forget fashion accessories manufacturer Genki. It posted the following video render on its official website during CES 2025, showing the Switch 2 and its Joy-Con in use with Genki's proposed accessories. We get a look at the optical sensor along with the mechanism used to detach the magnetic Joy-Con from the Switch's main body.

Breaking away from the console itself for a moment, recent rumors suggest that retail boxes for physical Switch 2 games will be larger than that of the current Switch console. Famous leaker 'Necro' Felipe (@nekrolipe) presented what he believed to be an accurate account of these rumors in an online posting.

Finally, just in case black isn't your color, user @combatcarl08 has produced renders of the Switch 2 with an alternate white color scheme to go along with the rumored black model. It still retains the same blue and orange highlights, but to our eyes it's not as striking as the black.

So there you have it! It's only a matter of time before Nintendo finally relieves us of the pain and officially reveals what the Switch 2 will actually look like, but until then, these impressive renders might be the best presentation we've got yet.
