If you saw the new trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie yesterday, you were surely amazed by its large number of curiosities and references. However, did you know that the Spanish dubbing of the trailer also contains a most tender and special secret? In the movie, Super Mario is voiced by Guillermo Romero, something normal because he is the usual voice of Chris Pratt
However, we have now been able to confirm that Luigi will be voiced by Rafa Romero (who is also the regular voice of Charlie Day, voice of the English version of the character). As a curiosity, this voice actor had already dubbed Luigi in the popular (and infamous) live action movie of the series, so he will now repeat in a role that, we hope, is much better.
However, what unites them in all this? As you may have deduced from the surnames of both, the truth is that they are brothers. Just like Mario and Luigi are, Guillermo and Rafa will now also be brothers united by the fiction of the Mushroom Kingdom. You can take a look at the curiosity that confirms it below:
The coincidences of life: Guillermo Romero (regular voice of Chris Pratt) voices Mario. Rafa Romero (regular voice of Charlie Day and who already dubbed Luigi in the 90’s movie) dubs Luigi. They are both brothers and dub the Mario brothers :_____) https://t.co/8gT1WKxwnv
