Today’s trailer was packed with Easter eggs and references from the games. To name a few, we saw:
- Mario flies around in his tanuki suit
- Peach harnesses the power of a Fire Flower
- Mario burns kart gum on Rainbow Road
- Multicolored wild Yoshis (how much are you willing to bet Mario will make one Jurassic Park a notice?)
- And the most important, a possible Spotted Funky Kong?
One can only hope Kong’s daisy dukes don’t ride off to his underworld while he Tokyo Drifts behind Mario. Aside from the hilarity of Donkey Kong taking Mario to the Smackdown Hotel, the crowd singing to Mario in the Colosseum might be a subt as wellle reference to this famous Super Mario Bros. 3 advertisement.

If you did Doomscrolling online earlier today, you might have caught it leaked posters by Mario, Luigi (aka Better Mario), Toad and Princess Peach circulating online. If you count, today’s Oopsie marks that For the second time we’ve seen leaked promotional material for the film, although this time the source wasn’t a random post on Discord from a McDonald’s employee.
We have our first eye open Super Mario Bros. in a trailer unveiled during last month’s New York Comic Con, though the Pipe crawling plumber’s washboard ass left a lot to be desired for die-hards Mario fans. Unfortunately, Chris Pratt’s “I spent a weekend in BrooklynMario didn’t bring them yams to the second Super Mario Bros . Neither do followers. But cheer up. If we learned anything from it live action sound Movie, Bullying works, so there’s hope Mario will have a juicy Cabosey in the next trailer. (Um, please don’t really bully Super Mario Bros.
