As you well know, Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows multiple residents to inhabit the same island on the same console and game. However, it should be noted that secondary users on the island may have restrictions.
Once the main islandercan be added other players if there are other profiles created on the same console and they log into the game with their profile. The latter will have these restrictions:
- Secondary players on an island will need the primary account player to take on tasks so that everyone else can benefit.
- For example, if the main player does not donate five creatures to Tom Nook for study, this means that a number of features will remain blocked for all other players until the main player does.
- The same goes for Socrates and his museum, which won't appear until the main player makes those donations.
- The first resident of the island has been asked to help improve the island, participate in new projects, and check the status of projects in progress. All other players on the island are told to ask the main player for an update on those features.
As you can see, some functions are restricted to the first player, so we recommend that, if you camp several, make sure that the first one that arrives is an active user. What do you think? You can find more information about this and other multiplayer modes at this link.
