There is less left for its premiere and little by little we are learning news about this game. Today we bring curious and interesting news related to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, now known as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
After knowing news in the last Nintendo Direct, we now have news of what was presented in the gameplay offered by Eiji Aonuma, producer of the franchise. Specifically, after learning about the game’s Switch OLED model, the mechanics presented in the video and that the weapons break, now we get new details from the official The Legend of Zelda Twitter account for Japan.
After detailing Golems and Kickback, Zonnan, Combination and Ultra Hand and Fans, as well as Arrow and Shield Combination, now we bring you a video from GameXplain that seems to have solved a curious dilemma.
It is precisely about the strange batteries that we saw in the last gameplay. The video below seems to have revealed how they work:
- The battery symbol always appears above Link
- This indicates that it indicates how much battery it has on it
- They think it’s related to the shells/pods we’ve seen Link wearing on his waist in all the trailers.
- In previous trailers it had four active deposits, while this latest gameplay only shows one active
- This indicates that these deposits can be improved / added, since the last gameplay takes place in an early part of the game (we know this from the number of hearts that Link has: only four).
- This would make sense, as the battery symbol drains very quickly in the latter gameplay for example when used to fly. In previous trailers, we see vehicles flying through the air, which suggests that these tanks / batteries will be improved throughout the adventure.
Here you can see it on video:
What do you think? Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments. Remember that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12, 2023. This is the only thing that Nintendo shares about this installment:
The keys to the sequel
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: An adventure of epic proportions will transport players to the lands and vast skies above Hyrule in the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They will have to decide which way to go through the vast landscapes of Hyrule and the floating islands scattered in the heights. Will players harness the power of Link’s new abilities and stand up against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom?
- In addition to the standard edition, a Collector’s Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will also be available the same day the game is released, which includes a physical copy of the game, an art book, a SteelBook, a metal poster Iconart and a set of four pins. On the other hand, a new Link amiibo with its appearance in the game will also be available separately, granting users materials and weapons, as well as a special cloth for Link’s parasail. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 12. Pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are now open on Nintendo eShop.
