Despite the differences in perspective and dimensionality between Terraria, which takes place in an environment 2D side scrollingand the original Pokémon games, which feature a top-down 3D view, this player has proven his skill in making the adaptation coherent and faithful to the source material.
With the pseudonym of EaldorPrime and Reddit, This talented player has presented his latest work as part of his series of replicas of Kanto recreated in Terraria. To carry out the construction of Mount Moon using Terraria’s construction tools, EaldorPrime has had to use his creativity to adapt the 3D movement to 2D game environment. Since the characters in Terraria have the ability to jump but not move vertically on the screen, the player has incorporated platforms into the area, allowing for three-dimensional movement. Despite the challenges, the creator has managed to complete this project without using modifications of Terraria, although he confesses to having spent a considerable amount of time in the decoration phase.

The representation of Monte Luna created by this user is practically a scale replica Exactly the one that appears in Pokémon Red and Blue, including the tunnels that connect to other parts of the cave complex. The main distinction between the reconstruction of Mt. Moon and the original is that the Terraria version is not populated by wild Pokémon such as Zubat and Clefairy, nor do random battles occur with them. However, the creator has devised a substitute for Pokémon, using the Lightning Carrot to summon a yellow Volt Bunny that accompanies the player character, thus emulating the relationship between Pikachu and the protagonist in Pokémon Yellow.
