The latest boxed video game rankings are in for the week ending February 11 from Europe’s biggest gaming market, the United Kingdom. Not surprisingly, newly released The legacy of Hogwarts reached number one and is the biggest Harry Potter game release of all time. The Nintendo Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy is due out in July this year. In other news, the platforming magic of New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe has re-entered the top ten. “There has been some pricing activity for Nintendo Switch games this week, which has seen games rise in the charts. Animal Crossing: New Horizons jumped seven places to No. 5 after a 40% week-over-week sales jump. New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe jumps eight spots to No. 10, Mario Strikers: Battle League Football shoots up 25 spots due to a 197% increase in sales, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury rises 68% to go from No. 27 to no. .15, Mario Tennis Aces re-enters the chart at #17 (up 182%) and Luigi’s Mansion 3 at #20 (up 88%).”
