New sales figures provided by Games Industry have revealed the state of the console market this year in Europe’s biggest gaming market, the UK. The best-selling platform so far is the PlayStation 5, followed by the Xbox Series X|S with the Nintendo Switch in third place. It was inevitable that Switch sales would eventually fall this year with a successor to the popular console on the near horizon. It will be interesting to see if anything major changes with Black Friday and the start of sales ahead of the extremely busy Christmas period.
