It is now only 2 and a half weeks before Nintendo Switch 2 will give more detailed detection via the upcoming Switch 2 Direct. Meanwhile, the Switch 2 News are primarily patents, FCC also endures rumors. The patents and FCC submitted were particularly interesting because this may be the closest to Nintendo that we will get.
This time this is not necessarily a new patent. It is actually an update of the patent already published. However, the updated patent now adds information on increasing AI resolution. It is worth noting that this is not a controversial generative AI, but a method to increase resolution that is not homeland. Although this technology could be used for Switch 2 games, it is much more likely that this will be used to improve the Switch 1 games played on the Switch 2.
Of course, although this is a patent from Nintendo, there is still room for holding an open mind. Nintendo has not yet spoke properly about the issue, and there are more guesses from that patent itself than any concrete information. Still, this has been rumored earlier, so it only adds to more evidence that Nintendo is likely to bring it out in their Switch 2 Direct 2 April 2. This is all said, you can see a picture of the patent update down.
