The latest information on video game software and hardware has arrived from NPD group which tracks video game sales across the United States. In January 2023, four new releases entered the top ten, with the biggest new entry being the Dead Space remake at #2, Fire Emblem Engage at #5, Forspoken at #7, and One Piece Odyssey at #9. The best-selling video game console in the United States was Sony’s PlayStation 5 console, with the Nintendo Switch family of systems in 2nd place and the Xbox Series X|S consoles in 3rd place.
