Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 didn’t exactly meet with the universal approval of fans of the franchise (although we thought it was mostly “pretty good”), but that doesn’t stop the publisher from promoting the collection at every opportunity.
The latest video is a pretty elaborate teaser where voice actor David Hayter, perhaps best known for his work on Metal Gear as Solid Snake and Big Boss, takes us on a short journey through history as we dive into the original classic Metal Gear Solid trilogy released on PS1 and PS2.
All three games are now playable through the Master Collection with Metal gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, The snake’s revengeand NES Port of Metal gear.
The video is just the first entry in what so far appears to be an ongoing series, but since the next episode will dive into the upcoming Snake Eater remake (which won’t be gracing the Nintendo Switch), we’ll probably leave that to our friends at Push Square and Pure Xbox cover.
