XSEED Games has announced in a recent blog post that the upcoming western release of the Long-awaited Story: The Japanese version has a "Best Friends" system but this has not allowed marriages. The setback will include a romantic relationship show showing all the people who have been married since the game began. Here are the exact details from the blog post and the game is out on July 10th in Europe and this summer in North America.
