Still working my way through Metroid Prime Remastered this weekend. Now I’m playing the game on hard difficulty, which is unlocked when you complete one playthrough. It’s definitely a nice challenge and makes me wish that option was available from the start.
On the other hand, I’m still having fun seeing the new Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games added to Nintendo Switch Online. I haven’t played Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga since its first release in 2003, so it feels great to be reacquainted with it. It seems wonderfulIs it?

I’m afraid not much has changed for me since last week. I wanted to actually beat Metroid Prime Remastered, but the week turned out to be a lot busier than I expected, so that will be my main focus. By the way, I’m fifty hours deep with Theatrhythm Final Bar Line and there’s no sign of stopping anytime soon, despite writing our review — I still need all those CollectaCards! And I have some friends who want to get together and play when they get settled, so I can’t get rusty.
I’m still going into Hollow Knight despite having to take my focus off the replay for a bit, but I only have the final boss left. And this time I’d like to beat at least four main Pantheons — we’ll see if that happens. No, don’t ask me about the Pantheon of Hallownest. Have a nice weekend everyone!

I three hours with the Octopath Traveler II Prologue Demo are almost up. I managed to squeeze two prologues out of it so I’ll probably raise my entertainment level a bit before the clock runs out and I’m left to wait until next Friday to continue this HD-2D adventure. Theatrhythm Final Bar Line proved to be quite an effective waste of time while simultaneously reshaping the definition of ‘grind’. The spirit of the GameCube continues to shine brightly with both Tales of Symphonia and Metroid Prime remasters reminding me why the 6th generation represents some of the happiest times of my life. The Rooftop Renegade also looks like a badass, so I’ll probably build some renegades this weekend.
Game of the week is The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Can Capcom go wrong with the GBA?

I got through Gargoyle’s Quest last weekend and would really like to cross another Game Boy speedster off the list. Elsewhere, I have to get back to Chained Echoes, and everyone says this Metroid Prime thing isn’t bad — who knows, I might check it out.
Also, has anyone played Rain World? I’ve heard interesting things and it’s for sale.
