Characters rejected in some Mario Kart
It is possible that characters such as Diddy Kong or Bird, which were available in Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii, but did not return in more recent titles however, will return again in a future Mario Kart 9.
Other outstanding characters could be added to this list, such as Funky Kong, present in Mario Kart Wii or Floruga, belonging to Mario Kart 7.

Mario Kart Tour has a wide variety of drivers compared to other titles, among which several characters never seen before in franchise titles have debuted, and who could return in Mario Kart 9. Among these we can find the different types of Brother Hammer, Dixie Kong, Peachette, Pauline or Kamek among others.
