We get a brief but interesting fact related to Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Through the official website of the game for Japan, we have been able to know that the title will not be compatible with amiibo figures.
This is specified in a part of the page, where it is mentioned that in this version for Nintendo Switch these popular figures cannot be used. This is something that draws attention considering that the previous edition for New Nintendo 3DS did include amiibo compatibility.
Specific Xenoblade Chronicles 3D It offered a collection mode that we could access by scanning various amiibo figures. Sadly, it looks like this isn't back in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.
